Located 12km west of Lisbon, Carcavelos Beach is the largest expanse of sand on the Estoril coast.

Given its proximity to Lisbon and easy means of access, Carcavelos Beach is highly popular during the summer while in winter it is mostly given over to the surfing and bodyboarding communities, brought in by the excellent conditions here.  It also regularly hosts beach volleyball and football competitions.

Next to the Beach, there is a wide choice of renowned restaurants in addition to bars and terraces just perfect for some quality time in the sun.
