While not exactly defined as its own region we have assembled the areas of West Asia, Parts of the Middle east and the Caucasus as Eurasia. As one of the wellsprings of human civilisation in the ancient and medieval worlds, the birthplace of several world religions and an area of much modern economic and political importance, Eurasia remains a popular destination for travellers.

The region is known for its arid climate, but as well as deserts the region is famous for some of the worlds best beaches and sea side escapes as well as ski resorts in the mountains of Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, Israel and northern Iraq. The region is also the cradle of the world's first urban civilizations (especially in Ancient Mesopotamia), and the birthplace of the Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
